Hello! This is Toowoomba Youth Mental Health Service
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Health Service
Welcome to Toowoomba Youth Mental Health Service.
Our Practice was opened in 2017 by our Principal Director Dr Suren Putter. Dr Suren opened Toowoomba Youth Mental Health Service to help better the lives of all young people in our community and to offer a safe space for young people and their families that is free from judgment. You may notice our logo is shaped a little like a snowflake, because at our practice, we believe that everyone is as individual as a snowflake and deserves to be treated as such.
We service the Darling Downs and South Burnett Region. We specialize in servicing the needs of young people who struggle with mild to severe mental health concerns. We also support young people with mild to severe intellectual impairments and delays.
As our clinicians have over 50 years combined experience, we welcome all appropriate referrals from GPs and specialists. If you are unsure if you are eligible for our service, please do not hesitate to contact our friendly reception team.

We require a Referral from your GP or Specialist,
If you are seeing our Psychologist we also require a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP)
